Tim Tebow broke the record for the most tweets per second (sports related) with 9420 after his 80-yard touchdown pass in the overtime against Pittsburgh. Just imagine the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow make it to the Super Bowl 2012 and Tim Tebow throws another pass like on the weekend - Twitter would explode.
The Super Bowl is the biggest TV event in the United States - everyone is watching. 111 million on average were watching the Super Bowl 2011. The Super Bowl 2012 pairing is not known yet. So Twitter can still hope for the Broncos to lose the next game.
Tim Tebow also made headlines last year during the Super Bowl with his appearance in a pro-life ad. This year he could even be playing in the Super Bowl and not just appear in a commercial.
The Super Bowl 2012 is taking place in Indianapolis on February 5th, 2012.
